Before the 2025-26 season Taylor Holleman was named Assocaite Head Men's Basketball Coach. The prior four season he was the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, but started working with the team during the 2020-21 season.
In the 2024-25 season Holleman helped lead the Cougars to a UMAC regular season championship after going 10-4 in the conference. This was the program's first title since the 2009-10 season.
Holleman has extensive coaching experience in the past few years, working as an assistant coach down the road at Hancock High School and helping the Owls to 101 wins in a five-year span. He has also been an AAU coach for the West Central Wildcats.
A native of nearby Hancock, Minn., Holleman graduated from Minnesota Morris in 2018 with a degree in Financial & Organizational Management. He was a four-year member of the football team and a member of the men's basketball team for one season. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Sports Administration and Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in the summer of 2023.
Holleman resides in Morris with his wife, Tiana, and their daughter, Tenley.
