Caroline Collet

Caroline Collet will begin her first season as the head cross country coach in the 2025-26 season.

Coach Collet comes to Minnesota Morris after four years as an assistant coach at Wartburg College for the women's cross country and track & field teams. While at Wartburg, she ran one year as a graduate student on the track & field team in addition to specializing in coaching steeplechase.  She learned a lot about team culture and athletic success from both the coaching staff and phenomenal athletes she worked with there.

Prior to her time at Wartburg, Collet competed as a Division I athlete at Eastern Illinois University where she ran on both the cross country and track & field teams for four years. Collet completed her Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts at Eastern Illinois and her Masters of Arts in Leadership at Wartburg. She would like to note that her time as a theatre student taught her that pursuing goals should be done with great enthusiasm, creativity, and authenticity, and applying that to distance running was the spark that led her to coaching.

Coach Collet can frequently be seen running around the Morris community with her fiancé and dog; she is grateful to be part of a sport that has a multitude of post-collegiate opportunities to stay involved and encourages Cougar alums to keep finding joy in the sport.
