2021-22: Academic All-UMAC … Played in all 28 games and made 27 starts … Averaged 6.4 points per game … Among the team’s rebounding leaders at 4.2 per game … Notched 58 blocks, third all-time in program history for a single season.

2020-21: Academic All-UMAC ... Played in all 10 games with eight starts ... Averaged 25.1 minutes per game ... Scored 8.2 points and had 4.5 rebounds per game.

2019-20: Academic All-UMAC ... Played in 25 games and made one start ... Averaged 14.8 minutes per game ... Notched 3.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

High School: Attended West Central Area...Student Council President, All-State Academic, Carlin Berg Music Award, 15 All-Conference Honors in cross country, basketball, and track. 

Personal: Born on Aug. 16, 2000... Parents are John and Chris Van Kempen ... Siblings are Holly, Abby, and Jack ... Both parents, a sister, and a cousin all attended Minnesota Morris ... Majoring in Environmental Science ... Hobbies include cooking, working out, being outdoors, and hammocking.
