Biography
2014-2015: Sophomore season..During her sophomore season Jill finished in 13
th place in the 1650 free at the Liberal Arts Championships. On the top twenty list in the 500 free (3
rd), 1000 free (5
th), 1650 free (2
nd), and 100 back (8
th).
2013-2014: Freshman season…As a freshman she made a record impact setting the school record in the mile by dropping 56 seconds from her season time to her Liberal Arts Championship time. At the LAC meet she was top 16 in all three of her events finishing 15
th in the 500 free, 16
th in the 100 back, and 13
th in the 1650 free. In the Cougar top twenty list she is 3
rd in the 500 free, 3
rd in the 1000 free, 1
st in the 1650 free, and 7
th in the 100 back.
High School: Perham High
Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Sandy Burns. she has an older brother J.D.
Major: Chemsitry
Chose UMM because it is small school with a Women's swimming and diving team.
