University of Minnesota Morris Athletics

Amelia Meyer, LAT, ATC is in her sixth year of providing athletic training services for the University of Minnesota Morris through a contract with Heartland Orthopedic Specialist out of Alexandria, Minn. 

She earned her Bachelors of Science degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Science through Minnesota State-Moorhead in 2020. 

At Minnesota Morris, Amelia provides coverage for 19 varsity sports. Here she enjoys working with the athletes and aiding them in their return to sports after they sustain an injury. 

At Heartland Orthopedic Specialist, Amelia works in the Physical Therapy department. Here she sees patients and fits them with braces, crutches, and walkers, goes through pre-op and rehab exercises and gives them information on what to expect post-operatively after surgery. 

Outside of work, Amelia enjoys hanging out with family and friends, snowmobiling, and enjoying the outdoors.
