Kolle's Lone Goal Enough for Cougars

Box Score NEW ULM, Minn. – Kelsi Kolle's 37th minute goal gave the Cougars (9-3, 8-1 UMAC) their fifth straight win via the shutout in UMAC play beating Martin Luther (4-8, 3-5 UMAC) 1-0 on Thursday afternoon. The Cougars have not allowed a goal in over 410 minutes now and have won every match this year via the shut out.

In a match that featured just six shots on goal all by the Cougars it was Kolle who broke the scoreless tie thanks to an assist from Zoe Bergstrom.

Rikki Beaver got the clean sheet as the Cougars defense did not yield a shot on goal and only two shots in the match.

Minnesota Morris will be back on the home pitch on Saturday as they look to avenge their only loss in UMAC play as they host Bethany Lutheran at 2:30 p.m.
