MORRIS, Minn. – The Cougars may have already clinched a spot in the UMAC Tournament but their UMAC season is far from over. Four matches remain including one that could be the difference in a regular season UMAC title. Tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 p.m. St. Scholastica and Morris will do battle at Cougar Field.
Currently the Saints and Cougars are tied atop the UMAC with 27 points and a 9-1 record. The Cougars beat the Saints 1-0 in Duluth to end their 99 conference match winning streak. A win on Friday would give them a three point lead with three matches left and a 2-0 record against St. Scholastica.
On Saturday the Cougars take on the Lumberjills at 2:30 p.m., earlier this year Morris beat Northland 7-0 in Ashland.
