Box Score ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (13-4, 12-2 UMAC) clinched a home match in the UMAC Tournament with a 4-0 win over North Central (2-14, 0-12 UMAC) on Friday.
RiAnne Metz stopped one shot to earn the clean sheet as four different goal scorers gave UMM the 4-0 win.
Katie Kestner broke a scoreless tie in the 40
th minute thanks to an assist from
Zoe Bergstrom. UMM outshot NCU 18-1 in the first half but the Rams stayed in the match.
Three goals in a matter of five minutes gave the Cougars the 4-0 win.
Meghan Laird teamed up with
Justine Wolf to make it 2-0 in the 70
th minute.
Christina Mollan and Laird teamed up in the 72
nd minute to make it 3-0 and then Kebra Roger made it 4-0 in the 75
th minute.
The Cougars will take on Northwestern tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. to wrap up their regular season play.
