Box Score St. Paul, Minn. - Playing their first road game of the season againt their second straight MIAC foe in three days, the University of Minnesota Morris Cougars were shutout 3-0 by Augsburg College. AC would put up 27 shots in comparrison to just one by UMM on the night. Keeper Rikki Beaver did her best stopping seven of the ten shots on goal. BOX SCORE

Augsburg opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a strike to the corner of the net from the center of the 18 yard box. UMM stayed close and kept AC off the board for a majority of the rest of the game as Beaver and company did not allow a goal until the 76th minute, that goal came off a penalty kick. Augsburg put the game away in the 86th minute scoring off a free kick.

Next up for UMM will be Saturday as they travel to take on Wisconsin-Superior at 1:00 p.m.
