MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota, Morris men's basketball team kicks off their 2013-14 season tomorrow against the Cobbers of Concordia College. The game will tip at 7 p.m. in Moorhead, Minnesota. Last season the two teams met in the season opener in Morris with the Cobbers picking up the 78-76 win.

This season the Cougars return three starters from last year's squad and return 58.7% of their scoring. They also welcome a host of new players to add depth to a fairly experienced team.
Brendon Foss, who led the team in rebounds and scoring from last season returns after another successful football season.
RJ Dean and
Evan Reller also return after each starting all 26 games last season.
Minnesota Morris will look to return to last season's shooting form. In the 2012-13 season UMM shot 48.9% from the field and 41.2% from three. They were one of the best three point shooting teams in the nation after hitting 219 three points in 26 games.
Following Friday's game the Cougars will travel to Trinity Bible on Tuesday before opening up at home against St. John's on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
