2011-12: Sophomore season ... named Honorable Mention All-UMAC and All-Defensive Team ... 26 games played ... started 4 … in UMAC games, ranked 8th in rebounding (6.2/g), 6th in steals (1.7/g), 3rd in blocked shots (1.1/g), and 4th in offensive rebounds (2.9/g) ... in all games, ranked 7th in the UMAC in steals (1.5/g), 5th in blocked shots (1/g) … career high 21 points on 4 for 7 shooting from behind the 3-point line and 6 for 12 from the field against Bethany Lutheran on Jan. 20 … led the team in offensive rebounds (2.2/g), steals (1.5/g), blocked shots (1.0/g), and field goal attempts (8.4/g) … season high 10 rebounds and 20 points, where he was perfect from the field (6 for 6), from the 3-point line (2 for 2), and free throw line (6 for 6) against Mayville State on Dec. 9 … finished the season averaging 10.5 points/game and 5.3 rebounds/game while playing 28 minutes a night

2010-11: Freshman season … posted a UMM season high with 12 rebounds at Northwester in the UMAC Championship game on Feb. 26 … other season highs include 17 points and seven field goals at Northwester on Feb. 12, four free throws v. St. Scholastica (4-of-4) on Jan. 29, and five assists v. Northland on Jan. 28 … appeared in all 27 games but came on late in the season to start the final four, earning first career start on Feb. 18 at St. Scholastica … one of four players to play in every game … had first career double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds in the UMAC Championship game … played 13.1 minutes a night, with 3.9 points and 2.9 rebounds … shot 51% (37-of-72) from the floor and 75% (27-of-36) from the line … tied for the team lead with 10 blocks while his 17 steals were fifth.

High School: 2010 graduate of Hancock High School … coached by Chad Nuest … All-Conference in 2009 and 2010 for the Hancock Basketball team … 2010 Pheasant Conference Basketball MVP … named to the 2010 All-Area West Central Tribune Basketball team … also set the single season scoring record for Hancock Basketball team in 2010 … named to the All-Conference team in 2008 and 2009 … named to the West Central Tribune Football team in 2008 and 2009 … All-Area receiving leader in 2008 and 2009 for football … named to the 2009 All-State Football team … named to the All-Conference Baseball team in 2008, 2009 and 2010 … named the 2010 Baseball MVP of the Pheasant Conference.

Personal: Son of Lorrie and Gary Joos, and Mark and Nikol Foss … has one brother Derrick Foss (19) who is member of the UMM Football team … chose UMM because of the good location, receiving multiple scholarships from the school and the opportunity to impact the sports teams and contribute to the success of the programs … his greatest sports thrill was reaching 1,000 point mark for the basketball team … majoring in Business Management ... also a standout receiver on the Cougar football team.
