MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (6-3) is going back on the court for the first time since December 20 when they head to Valley City State to take on the Vikings (4-9) at 4 p.m. The Vikings edged UMM 68-67 in Morris on the 20
th. Valley City State outscored UMM by eight in the second half to earn the comeback win.

Evan Reller had 16 points and 13 rebounds in the loss but was named the UMAC Player of the Week for the effort.

Brendon Foss each had 13 points in the game. The Cougars shot the ball well in the first half but could had trouble in the second half, including shooting just 4-17 from three. Morris will have two more non-conference games to prepare for the UMAC season including tomorrow's match up. They will also hit the road on January 7, to battle Presentation a team they beat 57-48 earlier in the season.
The Cougars have relied on balancing scoring this season, six players are averaging 7.9 points or better, including four that are averaging double figures. Four different Cougars have led the team in scoring in their nine games this year.
