Women Can Clinch UMAC Tournament Spot

MORRIS, Minn. – Women's soccer will travel to take on North Central and Northwestern this weekend. On Friday the Cougars will play the Rams at 3:15 p.m. The following day they take on Northwestern at 6:15 p.m.

The Cougars are unbeaten in their last eight matches on the year and have not conceded a goal during that stretch.

Earlier this season the Cougars beat North Central and Northwestern by the same score line, 4-0.

With six matches left in the UMAC season the Cougars are tied with St. Scholastica at the top of the UMAC table with 22 points. Morris leads the fourth and fifth place teams by ten points with the possibility to gain 18 more points this year. Six points (two victories) this week would allow the Cougars to clinch a spot in the UMAC Tournament.
