DULUTH, Minn. – Minnesota Morris couldn't solve the St. Scholastica Saints on Saturday, falling 4-1 in the UMAC Championship match. The Cougars were able to manage five shots in the match as the Saints were able to rack up 28 total shots.
 
The Saints scored a pair of goals just three minutes apart in the middle of the first half to go up 2-0. The scoring started in the 30^th minute on a nice header from Andrew Xotta-Dickson. The second goal was scored in the 33^rd minute, doubling their lead. Morris was unable to get a shot on net in the first half as the Saints defense kept UMM under control.
 
Scholastica would add another goal in the second half, making it 3-0 in the 65^th minute. The Saints tacked on another goal late in the match, as they found the back of the net in the 82^nd minute.  Michael Schuweiler hit a nice free kick from about 25 yards out, sneaking it just inside the post in the 85^th minute. The goal was too little, too late for the Cougars as they fell 4-1.
 
The Cougars finish their season with another run to the UMAC Championship in 2014, and will look to build off their strong finish to the season in 2015.
