MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (16-9) will host Crown (11-14) in the UMAC Semifinals on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., it is the first time since 2011 the Cougars will host. The Cougars will rely on their defense, which ranks 52
nd in the nation, allowing 65.2 points per game to knock off Crown.

The Storm has two victories over Morris this season but the Cougars will try to buck that trend tomorrow night. In addition to their defense, Morris will want to avoid foul trouble, something they do as well as anyone in the nation. Minnesota Morris averages 15 fouls per game which is 12
th in the nation. They also are 79
th in the nation with 12.1 turnovers per game.
Minnesota Morris can attack from anywhere on the court, they have six players who average over seven points per game. As a team, UMM shoots the ball at a 45.3% clip.
Brendon Foss, who needs just three points to reach 1,000, leads the team with 12.5 points per game. He and
Evan Reller also provide the Cougars with a tandem that rebounds the ball very well, both average over seven rebounds per game.
A key to beating Crown could be stopping one of the nation's best scorers. Bryce Williams, a guard for the Storm, averages 20.2 points per game which ranks 37
th in the country. He does a lot of damage from three, hitting 3.28 three pointers per contest. As a team, Crown ranks 18
th in the NCAA with 9.4 three point field goals made per game.
