MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris volleyball will on the road for the third straight week, traveling to St. Peter to take part in the Gustavus Invite. The Cougars (6-2) battle #24 Augsburg College to kick off the tournament tomorrow at 2 p.m.
TOURNAMENT WEBSITE Following the match the Cougars will then play Buena-Vista University at 4 p.m. Morris can scout their Saturday opponents, Gustavus Adolphus and Bethel, in the other matches on Friday evening. The Saturday schedule begins at 10 a.m. with a match against the host Gustavus. The final match for the Cougars will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday against Bethel.
The Cougars are coming off another 3-1 weekend, last weekend in St. Paul.

Emily Auch were awarded by the UMAC for their efforts last weekend. Auch was also named to the Macalester Invite All-Tournament Team.
Morris is 6-2 in the first set of matches and perfect 4-0 in the fourth set this season. The Cougars are holding a .192 to .128 advantage in attack percentage so far this year. The majority of the Cougars team stats compared to their opponents stats are very similar this year but the Cougars have found a way to win a majority of their matches. The only set they have been outscored is in the second set on the year.
Emily Auch needs 38 more digs this year to reach 1,000 career digs in her career. She reached her 1,000
th career kill earlier this year.
