GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Minnesota Morris fell 99-69 to Division I North Dakota (1-0) in a exhibiton game for UMM. The game was the regular season opener for North Dakota.
Noah Grove led the way with 12 points for Morris on 5-13 shooting.
Joe Roggenbuck and
Anthony Fisher each had nine points. Morris shot 39.2% from the field in the contest.
All 12 Cougars who got in to the game scored on Friday afternoon. North Dakota was one fire all game, shooting over 50% in each half. Cortez Seals had a game high 27 in his first ever game for UND, setting a freshman record in a season opener. Six members of the UND team scored in double figrues in the game.
The Cougars open up their regular season tomorrow night against the Concordia Cobbers in Moorhead.
