ASHLAND, Wis. – The Cougars (10-11, 6-7 UMAC) overcame an 11 point fourth quarter deficit, by outscoring Northland 24-11 in the fourth quarter.
Tori Holt had 21 points and eight rebounds, the 21 points tied a career high.
Morris led by six at the half but the Lumberjills outscored the Cougars 30-13 in the third quarter to take an 11 point lead.
NOTES: - Kendra Raths had 17 points and eight rebounds.
- Kayla Kraemer had 11 points and four assists.
- Northland had 43 bench points and 23 points off turnovers.
- The Cougars had 36 points in the paint.
- Minnesota Morris used a 9-0 run to get back in the game, early in the fourth quarter.
- Late in the game UMM went on a 10-0 run to clinch the victory.
