Softball team begins play in Florida

CLERMONT, Fla. - The Minnesota Morris softball team flew to central Florida Thursday in preparation five days worth of games that began Friday and continues through Tuesday. Two days are in the books with three more days to go. 

Friday
Simpson 11, UMM 0
Autumn Mahoney, Lacey Sullivan, Megan Knickerbocker, and Becca Holland each collected hits.

Nebraska Wesleyan 8, UMM 0
Nicole Newham hit a double. Lydia Mann tossed an inning of scoreless softball.

Saturday
Concordia (Wis.) 12, UMM 2
Knickerbocker and Michelle O'Rourke each went 2-for-2 with a run scored. Paige Dahlberg and Emily Nordquist each delivered hits.

Millikin 9, UMM 0
Kallie Wycoff, Kathryn Burquest, O'Rourke, Nordquist had hits.
