ST. PETER, Minn. – The Minnesota Morris women's soccer team (4-8-0) closed out its weekend road trip with a 3-0 loss at Gustavus (4-11-0) Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Maddie McDermott scored her first goal of the day in the 34th minute to put the Gusties on the board.
- McDermott then put Gustavus up 2-0 in the 49th minute.
- In the 71st minute, Kari Cammerrer netted a goal to make it a 3-0 contest in favor of Gustavus.
- Bernedette Ceinik made 12 saves in net for the Cougars.
- Gustavus outshot UMN Morris, 35-2.

The Cougars will host Crown on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 1 p.m. Wednesday's match will be the 2019 regular season home finale for the Cougars.
