MINNEAPOLIS – Monica Calderon and Sam Tate each tallied a hat trick as the Minnesota Morris women's soccer team (6-8-0, 4-4-0 UMAC) recorded a 6-0 win at North Central (1-13-0, 0-7-0 UMAC) Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tate netted her first goal of the afternoon just 3:28 into the game.
- Then in the fifth minute, Tate picked up her second goal of the day to make it 2-0.
- Calderon made it a 3-0 game on her fifth career goal at 7:20.
- Tate capped off her hat trick with a goal at 16:23.
- Calderon netted her second goal of the day in the 26th minute to make it a 5-0 game.
- Calderon closed out the scoring with her third goal of the game at 54:33.
- The Cougars outshot the Rams, 38-9.

- The Cougars tied a season-high in shots (38).
- UMN Morris set a season-high in goals (six), assists (six) and points (18).
