Women’s Basketball Eases Past Trinity Bible

Cougars tally a 98-24 win on the road

ELLENDALE, N.D. – The UMN Morris women's basketball team (10-8) cruised to a 98-24 victory on the road at Trinity Bible Tuesday night. Freshman Jadyn Sondrol led the Cougars with a career-best 15 points on the evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Cougars outscored the Lions by a margin of 28-4 during the first quarter before taking a 48-7 lead at halftime.
     
  • The third quarter saw the Cougars outscore the Lions by a score of 21-10.
     
  • UMN Morris used a 29-7 fourth quarter to secure the 98-24 victory.

NOTABLES

  • Sophomore Grace Olson scored a career-best 12 points.
     
  • Lexus Eagle Chasing tallied 11 points.
     
  • The Cougars were 12-for-15 from the floor during the fourth quarter.
     
  • Abby Van Kempen scored seven points and is now two points shy of 1,000 career points.
