Saturday Night Football Game to Benefit Cancer Research

The Cougars’ home game with Crown College on Saturday night will honor cancer survivors and look to raise funds for the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.

MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris football team will be raising funds to benefit cancer research on Saturday night when the Cougars host Crown College at 6 p.m. at Big Cat Stadium.

Fans entering Big Cat Stadium will see donation areas near the front gate and by the concession stand. Buckets will also be passed around through the stands at halftime. One hundred percent of donations will go to the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund, which hosts a variety of fund-raising events throughout the year, including Tackle Cancer. Numerous Cougar players will be wearing pink on Saturday night to highlight the event, while the team will have a cancer survivor serve as honorary captain for the evening. We look forward to hosting this great event and hope fans can support the cause!
