SUPERIOR, Wis. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's soccer team was unable to keep up with the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Yellow Jackets by a score of 7-0. The loss drops the Cougars to 2-8-1 overall, with a 2-2-1 record in the UMAC.
UW-Superior had 11 shots in the first half, with all three shots that were on target finding the back of the net. Protus Babaya got his hat trick started with a goal in the 14th minute. That was followed late in the half by scores from Nicolai Stokker in the 39th minute and Phillip Eriksen in the 42nd minute to make it 3-0 at the break.
In the second half, UW-Superior started the scoring once again in the 52nd minute. Babaya added his second in the 70th minute and finished it off minutes later. The Yellow Jackets added one more in the 82nd minute.
Lucas Harmon ended with six saves, all in the second half. Shots in the match for Minnesota Morris came from

The Cougars return home to host Bethany Lutheran College on Oct. 6 at 2 p.m.
