MANKATO, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's soccer team wrapped up the 2023 season on Saturday with a 6-0 loss at Bethany Lutheran College.
The Vikings were of the offensive early, scoring five goals in the first half and three in a span of less than 10 minutes between Ben Klausen's 11th minute strike and Lorenzo Falleti's second goal in the 20th minute. Raheem Graham added a penalty kick in the 29th minute and Agostino Quadrio Curzio scored in the 34th minute.
An unassisted goal from Bryan Jaimes finished off the scoring in the 72nd minute. Minnesota Morris created a couple of late chances, with a
Tommy Ellis shot forcing a save in the 88th minute before
Jacob Lee hit the post in the 89th minute.
Nick Isensee made four stops in goal for Minnesota Morris.
The Cougars finish 2023 with a 2-13-4 overall mark, including a 1-9-4 record in the UMAC.
