SARTELL, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's tennis team moved to 4-4 (3-1 UMAC) with a 9-0 shutout of Crown College on Thursday at the Sta-Fit in Sartell.
The dominant performance started with 8-0 wins at No. 2 doubles from 
Abby Burquest and 
Valerie Gall and at No. 3 from 
Megan Arens and 
Marybeth Tautges. At No. 1, 
Kiley Rodarmel and 
Allison Bruhn logged an 8-4 victory to give the Cougars a 3-0 lead in the match.
In singles matches, Gall, Arens, and 
Ava Weber all had 6-0, 6-0 wins at the Nos. 4, 5, and 6 matches. Rodarmel was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at No. 1, Burquest had a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 2, and Bruhn was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 3.
The Cougars will wrap up their week of matches at Sta-Fit tomorrow afternoon, facing Bethany Lutheran College at 1 p.m.
