MANKATO, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's tennis team took care of business on Sunday with a 7-2 win at Bethany Lutheran College, moving to 7-6 (6-3 UMAC) on the season. 
Minnesota Morris put itself in the driver's seat with three doubles victories. 
Kiley Rodarmel and 
Allison Bruhn took the match at No. 1, 8-4. At No. 2, 
Abby Burquest and 
Valerie Gall won by a count of 8-3. 
Megan Arens and 
Marybeth Tautges took their No. 3 match, 8-2.
Victories at Nos. 1, 4, 5, and 6 singles wrapped up the win for the Cougars. In the No. 1 match, Rodarmel earned a hard-fought 7-6(5), 7-5 victory over Sailor Mohlenbrock. At No. 4, Gall came from a set down to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. 
Ava Weber did the same at No. 6 singles with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 win. Arens had an easier time of it at No. 5 singles with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph.
Both Burquest at No. 2 and Bruhn at No. 3 had their matches go three sets before the Vikings were able to get the points.
The regular season wraps up tomorrow in New Ulm with a 3 p.m. match against Martin Luther College. With a win over the Knights, the Cougars would come home on Tuesday and host the University of Wisconsin-Superior in a play-off match to determine who will earn a bid to the UMAC Tournament next weekend in Minneapolis.
