In the Cougars' only match of the week,
Mary Cate Ziembiec played a pivotal role in the reverse sweep against the College of St. Scholastica. The senior outside hitter recorded a career-high 21 kills in the five-set victory. Ziembiec sealed set four with a service ace to force a decisive fifth set, where she tallied five more kills. This marks Ziembiec's first time being named UMAC Offensive Player of the Week.
Lexi Coon earned her second UMAC Defensive Player of the Week honor. Against the Saints, the first-year libero totaled a career-high 30 digs, along with four assists and a service ace.
Chayce Meyer claimed his second UMAC Defensive Player of the Week award. The senior defensive lineman made his presence felt against Westminster College, recording a career-high four sacks for a total loss of 22 yards in the 30–27 victory. He also tallied seven tackles.
In his first game kicking this season,
Logan Ahlers was named UMAC Special Teams Player of the Week. He was called upon twice and made both of his kicks. In his first field goal attempt of the season Ahlers sent the ball through the uprights as time expired to give UMM the 30-27 victory on the road. This is Ahlers second career UMAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors and first of the 2025 season.
Aaron Mackall continues his dominant 2025 campaign. Across two matches, the senior forward scored four more goals, bringing his season total to 16—ranking first in the UMAC and second in NCAA Division III. Mackall opened the scoring in a 2–1 victory over Crown College, then followed with a hat trick against Martin Luther.
