MORRIS, Minn. – Gregory Ohman of the University of Minnesota Morris football team has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for Week Five of the 2025 season, as announced Tuesday, Oct. 7. Ohman becomes the fourth Cougar to receive this honor.
 
Ohman, a senior linebacker, was also named UMAC Defensive Player of the Week earlier today. He earned the honor following a standout performance during the Cougars' 35-28 Homecoming victory. He tallied a career-high 18 total tackles—10 solo and 8 assisted—including five tackles for loss amounting to 20 yards. Ohman also recorded two sacks for nine yards, forced a fumble, and capped off the game with a decisive sack in the final moments to secure the win.
 
The last time a Cougar was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week was in Week Eight of the 2022 season, when Ohman's teammate, Chayce Meyer, earned the recognition.
 
The football team returns to action on Saturday, traveling to Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., for a noon kickoff.
