MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's basketball team has announced its 2025–26 schedule, with UMM playing 12 of its 25 games at home on James Gremmels Court. The Cougars are coming off an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championship, as Head Coach
Paul Grove enters his 24th season leading the program.
The 2025–26 campaign will tip off in Morris, as the Cougars host the College of St. Scholastica on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. The following week, Minnesota Morris will be on the road for three games, starting with Concordia College (Minn.) on Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. The Cougars then travel to Storm Lake, Iowa, for the Buena Vista Tournament. During the two-day event, UMM will face Nebraska Wesleyan on Nov. 14, followed by Buena Vista University on Nov. 15.
Minnesota Morris continues the road trip with a game at Oak Hills Christian College on Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a matchup with Trinity Bible College the next day at 7:30 p.m. The Cougars return home on Nov. 21 to host Augsburg University at 7 p.m. The homestand continues as Martin Luther College comes to Morris for a nonconference matchup on Nov. 25, tipping off at 7 p.m.
The final road game of 2025 will be played in St. Peter, Minn., when UMM travels to face Gustavus Adolphus College on Nov. 25. The Cougars close out the year with three home games, starting with Concordia College on Dec. 1 at 7:15 p.m. Oak Hills Christian and Trinity Bible will visit Morris for games on Dec. 6 and Dec. 8, respectively.
The Cougars begin UMAC play after winter break, opening on the road against Martin Luther on Jan. 7 at 7:15 p.m. Minnesota Morris will play its final nonconference game on Jan. 12 at St. John's University, with a scheduled start time of 7 p.m. The Cougars then return to UMAC action by hosting North Central University on Jan. 14.
UMM hits the road for a pair of conference games on Jan. 17 and Jan. 21, taking on the University of Northwestern and Crown College, respectively. To wrap up the first half of conference play, the Cougars host the University of Wisconsin–Superior and Bethany Lutheran College on Jan. 24 and Jan. 28.
Home games continue as the Cougars open the second half of UMAC play by hosting Crown on Feb. 4 at 7:15 p.m. The homestand concludes on Feb. 7 with Northwestern, scheduled for a 4:45 p.m. tip.
The Cougars return to the road on Feb. 11, traveling to Minneapolis, Minn., to face North Central at 7:15 p.m. The final regular-season home game takes place on Feb. 14 as the Cougars host Martin Luther at 4:45 p.m. The last two games of the regular season are on the road against Bethany Lutheran on Feb. 18 and UW–Superior on Feb. 21.
The UMAC Tournament will begin on Feb. 25, with the top four teams in the conference facing off. The winners will meet in the championship game on Feb. 28.
