MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris football team wraps up its season on Saturday with an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference matchup at Martin Luther College, kicking off at 1 p.m. in New Ulm, Minn.

In their final home game of the season, the Cougars defeated Westminster College, 14-7.
Bryson Drake scored both UMM touchdowns—first on a 13-yard rush, then on a 19-yard reception from
Hayden Charboneau. The Cougar defense came up with crucial red-zone stops to secure the win.
Juan "JT" Garza III made an impact all over the field, recording 135 punting yards, 82 return yards, 22 passing yards, and an interception that he returned 58 yards. His performance earned him UMAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Drake has led UMM at quarterback with 791 passing yards and eight touchdowns. Charboneau, who made the start last week, has totaled 277 passing yards and two touchdowns this season.
Sean-Keley Chinanga leads the Cougars on the ground with 471 rushing yards and five touchdowns, followed by
Oscar Weah Jr. with 350 yards and two touchdowns.
Manny Guy and
Carter Watnaas share the team lead with 270 receiving yards. Watnaas has hauled in three touchdowns, while Guy and
Orion Knakmuhs each have two.

Gregory Ohman surpassed 100 tackles last week to lead the Cougar defense. The senior linebacker also has 16 tackles for loss, four sacks, and two forced fumbles.
Arian Saenz and Garza follow with 64 and 41 tackles, respectively. The Cougars have recorded 25 sacks this season, with
Chayce Meyer ranking second in the conference at 10.5. UMM has forced 15 turnovers—eight fumble recoveries and seven interceptions. Meyer, Garza, and
Dino Villalobos have each accounted for three takeaways.

Martin Luther enters the final week of the regular season with a 4-5 overall record and a 2-4 mark in the UMAC. Last week, the Knights fell to Crown College, 34-21. Brady Turriff threw for 217 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Arthur Robinson recorded 91 rushing yards, and Jude Pederson tallied 122 receiving yards with two touchdowns.

This season, Turriff leads the UMAC with 2,210 passing yards and 18 touchdowns. Robinson has totaled 796 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, while Pederson leads the receiving corps with 636 yards and six touchdowns.

Thomas Badge leads the MLC defense with 66 tackles, followed by Ethan Melso with 56. Jesus Medina leads the Knights with 3.5 sacks. Martin Luther has forced 10 turnovers on eight interceptions and two forced fumbles.

This is the second meeting of the season between the Cougars and Knights. In the UMAC opener, UMM hosted Martin Luther and came away with a 35-28 win on a go-ahead touchdown from Drake to Watnaas in the final minute.
