The one-day camp will include instruction on hitting, position-specific fielding (outfield, infield, and catching), and pitching. Participants will be evaluated by the coaching staff and receive metrics in exit velocity (mph/hitting), throwing velocity (mph/pitching/throwing), and catcher pop time.
The Cougars will host a three-day pitching camp on Sundays—January 25, February 1, and February 8. This camp is for ages 8–18, with prices ranging from $50 for one day to $130 for all three days, and will run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Campers will work with Cougar coaches and players on pitching mechanics, arm care, pitch grips, drills, and metric testing (radar gun).
Minnesota Morris is also hosting a high school/youth hitting league. There will be two sessions:
- A Wednesday session on January 21 and 28, and February 4 and 11 from 6:30–7:15 p.m., costing $40 per session or $130 for all four.
- A Sunday session on January 25, February 1, and February 8 from 10:45–11:30 a.m., costing $40 for one session or $100 for all three.
The camp is for ages 7–18. Campers can expect to receive hitting instruction from Cougar coaches and players, learn new hitting drills, and prepare for the upcoming season.
