MORRIS, Minn. – The College Sports Communicators announced the Academic All-District Team for volleyball, and the University of Minnesota Morris has four student-athletes recognized.

To qualify for this honor, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and must have competed in 90 percent of games this season or started in at least 66 percent of them.

Allison Dornseif earns her first CSC Academic All-District Team honor. The senior setter is majoring in psychology and human services and minoring in communication, media, and rhetoric. This season, Dornseif played in 24 matches, starting in four. The Hector, Minn., native tallied 290 assists, 122 digs, 18 service aces, and six kills.

In her first season of eligibility,
Clara Holden is recognized by the CSC. Holden is a sophomore majoring in psychology and minoring in nursing. This season, she was named to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Honorable Mention Team. Holden totaled a team-high 494 assists and 51 service aces. The sophomore setter also contributed 221 digs, 25 kills, and three blocks.

Anna Molstad was also named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for the first time in her career. The senior right-side hitter is majoring in biology and psychology. This season, Molstad earned UMAC All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition. The New Market, Minn., native recorded 152 kills, 31 blocks, 27 digs, five assists, and one service ace.

Tori Scheler earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive year. The junior middle hitter is majoring in elementary education. This season, Scheler totaled 96 kills while posting a team-high hitting percentage of .274. She also added 54 blocks, 23 digs, and six assists.
