MORRIS, Minn. – The awards continue to roll in for
Aaron Mackall and
Nick Isensee, as both were named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Scholar All–North/Central Region Team.
Isensee was named to the Second Team Scholar All-Region. He is majoring in criminal justice while maintaining a 3.50 GPA. Isensee started all 18 games in goal for the Cougars, totaling 108 saves and one assist. This season, the Shakopee, Minn., native became the Cougars' all-time saves leader with 362. Over the year, Isensee earned Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) All-Conference First Team, CSC Academic All-District, USC Second Team All-Region honors, and was named UMAC Player of the Week twice.
Mackall was named to the Third Team Scholar All-Region. During his time at Minnesota Morris, he majored in psychology and held a 3.89 GPA. Mackall led the UMAC in goals with 16 and set a program record by scoring four goals in a single game. This marks his seventh different award of the season, adding to his CSC Academic All-American First Team, UMAC Offensive Player of the Year, UMAC All-Conference First Team, CSC Academic All-District, USC Third Team All-Region honors, and five UMAC Offensive Player of the Week selections.
