ST. PAUL, Minn. – Nick Isensee and
Aaron Mackall of the University of Minnesota Morris men's soccer team were each selected to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region IX Team.

This is the first time since the 2014 season that a Cougar has earned All-Region honors, when Shingo Yamane was named to the All-Region Second Team. Isensee and Mackall become the fifth and sixth Cougars to receive this recognition, joining Yamane, Matt Johnson, Greg Borchers, and Brent Diggs.

Isensee was named to the All-Region Second Team. The senior goalkeeper led UMM with 108 saves and set a new program record with 362 career saves. The Shakopee, Minn., native finished the season with a .720 save percentage, six wins, and four shutouts. Isensee also earned UMAC All-Conference First Team honors, CSC Academic All-District, and was named UMAC Defensive Player of the Week twice during the season.

Mackall was selected to the All-Region Fourth Team. The senior forward finished with 16 goals this season, the third most in program history. He also added three assists and recorded three game-winning goals. Mackall's honor adds to an award-filled season after being named UMAC Offensive Player of the Year, UMAC All-Conference First Team, CSC Academic All-District, and UMAC Offensive Player of the Week five times.
