Football to Play First Home Game October 4

MORRIS, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Morris Football program releases the 2025 schedule, which will feature four home Upper Midwest Athletic Conference matchups and six games on the road over the course of the season. The Cougars head into the season after finishing with a 5-5 overall record in 2024 and a 4-3 record in conference play.

Cougar football will kick off the season with three non-conference games on the road, starting with a Sep. 6 matchup against Concordia University Chicago (11 am). Minnesota Morris will head down the road to Saint John's University Sep. 13 for a 1 pm game before heading to Crown College the following week for their final non-conference matchup on Sep. 20 at 1 pm. 

After a bye week, the Cougars host Martin Luther College on Oct. 4 amidst the Homecoming celebrations. The game is scheduled for a 6 pm kick-off to accommodate the festivities. Heading to Westminster College Oct. 11, the Cougars will play at 12 pm before returning home against the University of Northwestern (Oct. 18 at 1 pm). Minnesota Morris will continue their travels with a game at Greenville University (Oct. 25 at 12 pm) and come home to host both Crown (Nov. 1 at 1 pm) and Westminster (Nov. 8 at 12 pm). The Cougars will see Martin Luther one more time to wrap up regular season competition on Nov. 15 at 1 pm. 

Minnesota Morris aims to return to the National Tournament by winning the 2025 regular-season UMAC championship.
