MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris football team plays its final nonconference game as it travels to Crown College on Saturday for a noon kickoff in St. Bonifacius, Minn.

The Cougars are coming off a tough game against No. 4/5 St. John's University.
Bryson Drake led the offense with 61 yards of total offense — 42 on the ground and 19 through the air. The Cougars did win the turnover battle, forcing three turnovers.
Jackson Viemeister recorded an interception, while
Dylan Young and
Dino Villalobos each forced a fumble.

Hayden Charboneau leads the team in passing with 144 yards, followed by Drake with 59 yards. Both quarterbacks have one touchdown pass.
Sean-Keley Chinanga leads the team in rushing with 68 yards, with
Oscar Weah Jr. close behind at 60 yards. Through the air, tight end
Carter Watnaas leads with 92 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Manny Guy has 41 yards on three receptions, and
Orion Knakmuhs rounds out the top three with 38 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively,
Arian Saenz paces the team with 22 tackles — 18 solo and four assisted.
Gregory Ohman also has double-digit tackles with 19, including 14 solo. The Cougars have two interceptions this season, by Viemeister and
Chayce Meyer. Young, Villalobos, and
Brenton Overall have each forced a fumble. Minnesota Morris has sacked the quarterback four times this season, with Young, Meyer, and
Dayton Allery. Young has two sacks while Meyer and Allery each have one.

Trever Cockerill leads the UMAC in average punt distance at 41.9 yards per punt. The first-year player has three punts over 50 yards and two inside the 20.
Christian Davis has scored on a PAT and a field goal. The longest return of the season so far is a 27-yard kickoff return by
Juan "JT" Garza.

The Polars have started the 2025 season 0-2, most recently falling 45-7 to Simpson College. Jamarrius Courtney has led Crown with 172 passing yards and one touchdown — 150 of those yards came in the season opener against Hamline University. Courtney also leads the UMAC in rushing with 345 yards and one touchdown. Behind him, Donovan Soloman has added 60 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, Jaylen Gray and Luke Johnson lead the Polars with 14 tackles each. Crown has eight tackles for loss, with Tel Frisinger recording two. Kyjuan Simmons has the team's only sack. The Polars have also recorded two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

The Cougars lead the all-time series 14-7, including wins in the last five matchups. Last year, UMM won 27-6 on the road.
