MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris football team will open the 2025 season with an 11 a.m. kickoff against Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Ill.

Last season, Minnesota Morris finished with a 5-5 record, closing the year on a three-game winning streak. Sophomore
Bryson Drake will be under center for the Cougars this season. In 2024, he threw for 642 yards and five touchdowns across six games.
Manny Guy, who was second on the team in receiving yards last season, returns for his junior year.

On defense, senior
Chayce Meyer is just one tackle for loss (TFL) away from setting a new program record. He totaled 11 TFLs last season and enters 2025 with 47.5 in his career. Meyer is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year. The Cougar defense also returns All-UMAC linebacker

Juan "JT" Garza III.

Concordia University Chicago is coming off a 2-8 season in 2024. The Cougars return starting quarterback Colton Bosch, who passed for 2,173 yards and 20 touchdowns last year. Head coach Chase Hankins enters his second season leading the program.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Minnesota Morris and Concordia University Chicago.
