MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris baseball program will host its annual First Pitch Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 7. The event will be held at Old No. 1 beginning at 6 p.m., with tickets on sale through Feb. 5.

A social hour will begin at 5 p.m. before the program starts. Head coach
Matt O'Brien will preview the Cougars' 2026 season, and the featured speaker will be Luke McClain.

McClain played four seasons at Minnesota Morris from 1994–97 and had a historic career with the Cougars. He holds the program's career record for hit-by-pitches and season records in runs, on-base percentage (OBP), and hit-by-pitches. The 1995 and 1996 teams each posted 21-win seasons, including a second-place finish in the NSIC.

Following McClain's remarks, assistant coaches Harry Ballantyne and
Mason Rapp will introduce the 2026 roster.
