NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's track & field team completed its first meet of the 2026 season at the Ole Opener in Northfield, Minn.
In his season debut,
Hayden Charboneau finished eighth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.56.
Noah Johnson recorded the top Cougar finishes in the 400-meter and 800-meter, placing 18th and sixth, respectively. To close out the meet,
Daniel Decory led UMM in the 3000-meter.
In the field events,
Kincade Eisenbacher placed 10th in the weight throw, setting a new personal record. In the shot put,
Lucas Tauber led the team with a mark of 10.47 meters, finishing 12th, while Eisenbacher followed in 13th.
The Cougars return to action next Saturday at the CSB/SJU Invitational.
