MORRIS, Minn. – Arian Saenz of the University of Minnesota Morris football team has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for Week 7 of the 2026 season, as announced Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Saenz is the sixth Cougar to receive this honor. Earlier this season, Damaris Fields was named Special Teams Player of the Week.

Saenz had a career game at linebacker to earn Team of the Week honors. The Sleepy Eye, Minn., native totaled 20 tackles against Martin Luther College, the fifth-most in program history. Of his 20 tackles, 10 were solo. The senior also recorded two tackles for loss, pushing the offense back nine yards.

The Cougars are on the road this week as they travel to Westminster College for a noon kickoff.
