Andrew Holm. Following a defensive pass interference penalty, Drake rushed for 11 yards and a touchdown. The Blue Jays then returned the ensuing kickoff 70 yards for the final score of the third quarter.
Â
On the Cougars' final drive of the game, they started at their own 19-yard line with one minute remaining. A facemask penalty, a pair of completions by Drake, and a rush by Monson moved UMM across midfield. Drake then found Roden for a 24-yard gain before connecting with him again for a 22-yard touchdown, accounting for the final points of the game as the Cougars fell 55-34.
