MORRIS, Minn. – Dylan Young of the University of Minnesota Morris football team has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for Week 9 of the 2026 season, as announced Tuesday, Nov. 3.
 
Young is the seventh Cougar all-time to receive this honor and the third this season. Damaris Fields was named Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 3, while Arian Saenz earned the honor as a linebacker in Week 7.
 
Young recorded two forced fumbles in the Cougars' 37-15 win over Greenville University. The senior defensive end is now tied for first in Division III with five forced fumbles. Young also tallied eight tackles, including three solo and five assisted, recovered two fumbles, recorded 1.5 tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries, and one sack.
 
The Cougars travel to Crown College this weekend for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Saturday.
