MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's and women's track & field teams will compete in a two-day meet in St. Paul, Minn., at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

The last time out, the Cougars competed at the CSB/SJU Invitational. Both the men's and women's teams placed eighth at the meet. On the women's side,
Jordan Ohman led the throwers in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw. She finished fourth in the discus, helping her earn Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week honors. The women's javelin team is ranked 23rd in Division III, led by Ohman, with
Samantha Dotzenrod,
Gretchen Andresen, and
Payton Stangl rounding out the top four. On the track,
Sylvia Pesch finished third in the 5,000 meters.
On the men's side,
Noah Johnson started the meet with a sixth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Hayden Charboneau scored for the Cougars in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing eighth. Daniel Decord ran the fifth-fastest time in program history in the 10,000 meters. In the field events,
Greg Ohman recorded a season-high mark in the hammer throw. His best finish came in the discus, where he placed eighth.
