SUPERIOR, Wis. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's track & field team finished sixth at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday in Superior, Wis.
 
The relay team of Sam Gifford, Hayden Charboneau, Evan Rydberg, and Juan "JT" Garza III placed fifth in the 4x100-meter relay. Charboneau also scored in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing seventh. Daniel Decory ran a season best in the 5,000 meters. To close out the track events, the team of Ethan Lauritsen, Jaxon Dalman, Tyler Franke, and Noah Johnson placed seventh in the 4x400-meter relay.
 
In the field events, Greg Ohman led the Cougars in both the hammer throw and discus, finishing fourth in each event. Garza led UMM in both the triple jump and high jump.
