MORRIS, Minn. – Travis Godfrey and Aidan Moran of the University of Minnesota Morris baseball team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, announced June 2.
 
To qualify for this award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50, and must have competed in 90 percent of games this season or started in at least 66 percent of them. For pitchers they must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
 
In his first year eligible, Godfrey earned CSC Academic All-District honors. The sophomore is currently majoring in biology. This season, he pitched in 12 games and made 11 starts. Godfrey earned three wins and led the team in strikeouts with 47. He also earned Upper Midwest Athletic Conference All-Conference Honorable Mention honors.
 
Moran earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time in his career. The senior catcher graduated with a degree in sport management and a minor in business management. Moran started 27 games behind the plate. This season, he hit his first collegiate home run.
