GREENSBORO, N.C. - The University of Minnesota Morris baseball team has earned the 2025–26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced on July 22.
 
The ABCA recognizes programs that maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the academic year. This year, nearly 500 college programs received the honor. Minnesota Morris posted a team GPA of 3.08, earning the award for the seventh consecutive year.
 
Nine student-athletes earned UMAC Academic honors, with two recording a perfect 4.0 GPA during the Spring 2026 semester.
