ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's soccer team fell 10-0 to the College of St. Benedict Sunday afternoon in St. Joseph, Minn.
The Bennies had control from the start. St. Benedict scored the opening goal in the ninth minute and never looked back en route to the win.
Talalupe Levale recorded the lone shot for the Cougars.
Jhazlyn Wynne played all 90 minutes, leading the team in minutes played.
Abby Stewart started the game in net and made six saves, while
Mackenzie Dolata started the second half and made 11 saves.
The Cougars start conference play on Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran College with a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
