MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris men's soccer team plays a pair of home Upper Midwest Athletic Conference games this week. The Cougars start the week against Martin Luther College on Tuesday with a 4:30 p.m. kickoff, followed by the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday with a 4:30 p.m. start.

Minnesota Morris started UMAC play last week at Bethany Lutheran College.
Karson Busch scored his first collegiate goal to tie the game at 1-1, but the Vikings added two more goals to win 3-1. The Cougars got back in the win column on Saturday against the University of Wisconsin-Stout, winning 3-1.
Patrick Bednarczyk and Angel "Bam" Perez Leon each scored their first goals in the maroon and gold.
Jake Anargyros scored his second game-winning goal of the season.
Anargyros leads the team with two goals on the season. Bednarczyk follows in points with three on a goal and an assist. Busch and Perez Leon have also found the back of the net this season.
Luis Mendez paces the team in assists with two.
Evan Karki and
Nehemiah Zappetta each earned their first collegiate point last week with an assist.
Dutch Bullock has started every game in goal, making 35 saves.
Martin Luther enters with an overall record of 1-4-2 and is 0-1-1 in the UMAC. Last week in conference play, the Knights drew with Crown College 1-1 before falling to North Central University 6-0. Head coach Nicolas Schmoller is in his fifth season with the team. The leading scorers for MLC are Silas Gawrisch and Jonah Uhlenbrauck with two goals each. Nicholas Russ has started every game in net, making 62 saves.
UW-Superior holds a 3-2-1 overall record and is atop the table at 2-0 in conference play. Last week, the Yellowjackets defeated North Central and Crown 3-1. Jack Mooney is in his 19th season leading the program. Seth Davidson has scored five goals on the season, leading the team. Henry Ruhland and Luke Lockman have split time in goal, making 18 and eight saves, respectively.
