MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's soccer team returns to Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action with a pair of home games. The Cougars will first host Martin Luther College on Tuesday at 2 p.m., followed by the University of Wisconsin-Superior at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Minnesota Morris started UMAC play last week when the Cougars traveled to Bethany Lutheran College. The Cougars earned their first point of the season with a 2-2 draw against the Vikings. Tessa Humphreys started the scoring in the ninth minute with her first collegiate goal. Malia Totoris also scored her first goal of the season in the draw. CJ Frear-Boerner started in goal and made a pair of saves. UMN Morris then played its final nonconference game against the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
 
Humphreys, Totoris, and Rylie Lovec have all found the back of the net this season. Brianna Ganske and Ashlynn Pollreisz have each earned a point on the year by assisting on a goal. Pollreisz leads the team in shots with nine, including four on target, but is still looking for her first collegiate goal. Frear-Boerner has made three starts in goal and recorded 15 saves. Mackenzie Dolata has one start and three appearances, leading the team with 20 saves.
 
Martin Luther holds a 4-1-2 record and has started conference play 1-0-1. In the first week of UMAC games, the Knights drew with Crown College 3-3 before defeating North Central University 4-0. Head coach Tyson Zarnstorff is in his fourth season with the program. Katie Schoeneck leads the team in points with 12, recording four goals and four assists, while Allison Olson follows with 11 points on a team-leading five goals and one assist. Maria Vik has made six starts in goal and recorded 25 saves.
 
UW-Superior is 2-3-1 overall and leads the conference at 2-0. In its first two UMAC games, the Yellowjackets defeated North Central 4-0 before besting Crown 3-0. Nick Piazza is in his first season leading the program. Seven athletes have scored a goal for UWS. Abigail Naud paces the team with three points on one goal and one assist. Cayley Larsen has started four games in goal for the Yellowjackets and has made 27 saves.
